Mr. De La Cruz is starting his twelfth year teaching. He graduated Magna Cum Laude from Texas A&M University - Kingsville in 2011. Prior to teaching at Veterans Memorial High School, De La Cruz taught for five years as the associate band director at Rio Grande City High School and four years with the Roma Independent School District. He has taught band classes at middle school and high school levels where his students have earned All-Region band placements, and have gone on to become high school All-State Musicians. Ensembles under the direction of De La Cruz have received consistent UIL sweepstakes awards and best in class awards at various band competitions and music festivals.

Instructor for the Saxophone and Double Reed Studios, Grades 9-12
Mr. Molina is currently in his fourth year teaching at Veterans Memorial High School. Mr. Molina is originally from Pharr, TX. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Music Education from The University of Texas – Rio Grande Valley in 2016 and is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Music Education from Texas Tech University. While studying at UTRGV, Mr. Molina was principal alto saxophone of the UTRGV Wind Ensemble and founding member of the Collegiate Saxophone Association. He is a member of the Texas Music Educator's Association, Texas Jazz Educator's Association, North American Saxophone Alliance, Music Teachers National Association and Kappa Kappa Psi National Honorary Band Fraternity. Mr. Molina is also the Head Theatre Director of the City of Pharr Parks & Recreation Summer Theatre Arts Program.

Mr. Vasquez is currently in his 15th year of teaching, this being his 10th year at Veterans Memorial HS. Mr. Vasquez earned his Bachelor's in Music Education from the University of Texas at El Paso in 2000. While at UT-EP, he was a member of the University Wind Ensemble, Orchestra, Percussion Ensemble, Pandemonium Steel Band, Marimba Pops, and percussion for the Zarzuela Opera. He currently resides in Mission with his wife Miriam and their 4 children.
